Enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing by coach through central Auckland. Hosted by local guides, you’ll hear stories of the region from the days of the early Polynesian settlers through to the modern city.
Highlights include the Auckland waterfront, Westhaven, (the largest marina in the Southern Hemisphere), Achilles Point (amazing views across the Hauraki Gulf), Auckland Domain (the oldest public park in NZ, home to Auckland Museum and manicured parklands) and the Parnell Rose Gardens.
These areas are some of the most interesting and affluent neighbourhoods in New Zealand and all within easy reach of downtown Auckland. This tour starts and ends at your chosen Auckland city hotel*.
*for anyone choosing accommodation not included in the main programme, drop-off point will be Aotea Centre or the main hotel.
