Sessions at the conference may be eligible for continuing professional development points within your profession. Delegates should check their individual scheme requirements. Further information on several of those schemes can be found here:
New Zealand Institute for Landscape Architects (NZILA): https://nzila.co.nz/accounts/login/?next=/cpd/_redirect
NZILA has determined that the EDS conference is eligible for the CPD points. NZILA members need to submit their points against the relevant activity through the online NZILA portal.
New Zealand Law Society (NZLS): https://www.lawsociety.org.nz/professional-practice/continuing-professional-development/cpd-requirements/
The CPD initiative is learner centred rather than prescriptive. Lawyers are responsible for identifying and fulfilling their own CPD requirements while reflecting on learnings and next steps. All sessions may be eligible for CPD if you can relate to your learning needs as set out in your CPD plan. This forms part of your CPD Plan and Record (CPDPR) and should be kept with all of your CPD materials.
New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI): https://planning.org.nz/education-and-careers/training-and-development (see section 'Create Your Own Development Plan')
