Theanne Walters is Deputy Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Strategic Policy and Research of the Australian Medical Council. Theanne has worked on medical education standards and accreditation of medical programs for more than 20 years. She now leads the AMC’s strategic work, which includes a large scale program of work identifying barriers and enablers of international medical graduates’ journeys through assessment to practice in Australia.
