Jessica is a dual qualified doctor and lawyer and is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria.

She is an Intensive Care Fellow. Her research interests include Health Law and Clinical Ethics, having completed an Honours thesis in the development of moral competency in intensive care clinicians. She is a Director of the Medicolegal Consultancy Group and teaches Health Law at Monash University. 

She has more than 10 years of varied Board experience, including; Audit and Finance, Governance and Risk, Nominations and Remuneration, Clinical Governance and Quality, Complex Risk and Crisis Management, Business Transformation and Constitutional Reform. She was a scholarship recipient for the Victorian Government Women’s Board Leadership program and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In 2017, she was a State Finalist for Young Australian of the Year.
