Daryl Pereira
Daryl leads the ‘Office of the CISO’ for Google Cloud in the Asia-Pacific. With over 25 years of experience in solving business-IT problems and leading cross-cultural teams, Daryl is a seasoned cyber security professional and a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and board members. He specialises in cyber security strategy, technology governance, and digital trust projects, helping clients navigate the complex and dynamic cyber risk landscape in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
He leverages his deep domain expertise in cyber security and his extensive experience in the financial sector, where he previously founded and led the Cyber Consulting practice at KPMG Singapore consisting over 100 cyber professionals, and held various global & regional head roles in Deutsche Bank and Westpac Bank’s Technology division.
Daryl is a Past President of ISACA Singapore, and is currently serving as a Governor at the Institute of Internal Auditors. He is certified as a CISM, CISA, CRISC, and CPA (Australia), and holds a MBA from Manchester Business School and a Master of Information Technology from the University of Canberra.
