Dr Chris Moy is a GP who took on the position of Federal Australian Medical Association Vice-President during the COVID-19 pandemic and, as a result, assumed significant roles in advocacy and media during this period. Prior to this, he was Chair of the Federal AMA Ethics and Medico-legal Committee for 4 years as well as AMA South Australia President.He has had long standing involvement the advancement of health initiatives at both state and national levels particularly in the areas of end of life care and digital health - the latter revealing itself to be critical during the pandemic in initiatives such as telehealth, My Health Record and electronic prescribing. He continues to practice in Adelaide and hopes one day to see his beloved Adelaide Crows do some good.
