Registration Terms and Conditions

  • Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the International Confederation of Principals’ Convention 2026.
  • All registration prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
  • Payment can be made online via credit card at the moment of registration. An invoice showing the total fee + GST will be sent to you automatically after payment.
  • The Earlybird Registration deadline is Friday 29 May 2026 (11:59pm NZST).
  • The Privacy Act 2020 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
    • Convention delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you)
    • Organisers of future ICP events
  • By registering for ICP 2026 you are confirming consent for any video and photographs of you taken at the event to be used by ICP in the promotion of the ICP unless you opt out of this on the registration form.
  • By registering for the conference, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the “Data Consent Policy”(add hyperlink). If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee below.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • If you cancel your registration on or prior to 19 August 2026 (11:59pm NZST) you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of $150
    • Cancellations made after 19 August 2026 (12:00am 20 August NZST) are non-refundable.
    • Your registration can be transferred to another person.
    • If for reasons beyond the control of the ICP, the International Confederation of Principals’ Convention 2026 is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.


Information Presented at the Conference

The information presented at the conference is solely intended for education professionals.

You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest information in the education field.  
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand.  

Although ICP strives to present only current and accurate information at its conference, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 

Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and ICP will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.

You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at the Convention.

Legal Claim 

This agreement is subject to the law of New Zealand. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, New Zealand shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Programme 

ICP 2026 reserve the right to modify the programme, which is published as an indication only. 

Insurance

If you are travelling to the Conference, it is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions (if applicable)

  • Prices are in NZ dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 15%
  • A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below
  • Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Convention dates only and are room only unless specified
  • Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed
  • You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in
  • Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.

Auckland City Hotel

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge the full amount to this card 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 2PM. Check-out time: By 10AM.

Crowne Plaza Hotel

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only.  Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • 3% surcharge applies to all AMEX, Diners and JCB card payments. A 1.5% surcharge applies to all other credit card payments
  • Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Edit Hotel (previously President Hotel)

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only.  Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • 2.5% surcharge applies to all credit card payments
  • Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 10AM.

Grand Millennium Auckland 

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only.  Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments
  • Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Horizon Hotel, SkyCity Hotel and The Grand Hotel

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only.  Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • A 1.8% surcharge applies to all credit card payments
  • Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Hotel Grand Chancellor

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge the full amount to this card 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • A  surcharge applies to all credit card payments. The credit card surcharge will range between 1.64%-3.35% dependent on the card.  Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • Check-in time: From 2PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Rydges Auckland 

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge the full amount to this card 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
  • 2% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
  • Payments made via cash or EFTPOS will not incur this fee.
  • The room rate includes complimentary full buffet breakfast for 1 person.  Additional breakfast is available at NZ$35 per day
  • Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 10AM.

Sudima Hotel

  • To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only.  Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided via the online booking form.
  • Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.

The Sebel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

  • If you cancel your booking on or after 7 August 2026, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
