Airtrain
The Airtrain is a quick and easy option for getting to and from the airport. Travelling between the Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City takes just 20 minutes. Airtrain travels express to the Gold Coast, linking to the G:link tram for travel to Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast beaches.
Train services run every 15 minutes during peak times and every 30 minutes off-peak periods. Airtrain also connects into the Queensland Rail suburban network.
To use this service, book your ticket on the Airtrain website. Purchase tickets on arrival at the Airtrain Station, travel using go card or contactless debit or credit card.

Places of Interest: Accompanying Persons
While no formal accompanying persons program has been arranged, Brisbane is an exciting city to visit.

Climate and Dress
Brisbane in August is moderately cold, as the city experiences the last month of the winter season during this time of the year.
With the city experiencing an average temperature of about 16 degrees Celsius, the average highs and lows during the month of August range between 21 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively. Dress code is smart casual.
CPD / CPE Accreditation
CPD/CPE points can be claimed for attending technical sessions.
If you are the holder of a New South Wales, Queensland, South Australian, Victorian or New Zealand Practising Certificate, you may be eligible to claim one CPD/CPE point for each hour of attendance at technical sessions.
Registered patent and/or trademarks attorneys may claim CPE hours for attendance at technical sessions.
For members with Western Australian Practising Certificates, you may be able to claim a maximum of 6 CPD points in Competency Area 4 – Substantive Law. This is subject to approval sought by you from the Western Australian Legal Practice Board.
