Professor Sana Al-Khatib is a cardiac electrophysiologist and Professor of Medicine at Duke University, and the current President-Elect of the Heart Rhythm Society. She is internationally recognised for her leadership in evidence-based arrhythmia care, clinical outcomes research, and guideline development, with major contributions to device therapy, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation management. Dr Al-Khatib has played a central role in shaping international consensus documents and guidelines, and is widely respected for her commitment to patient-centred care, health equity, and advancing the science and practice of electrophysiology.

Dr Karol Curila is a leading European electrophysiologist at IKEM in Prague with particular expertise in left bundle branch area pacing. He is recognised for technical innovation, electrogram interpretation, and education in CSP implantation and troubleshooting. He has been instrumental in defining the physiology of CSP. His work has contributed to standardising CSP practice across Europe and beyond.

Professor of Cardiology, Deputy Director of Cardiac Arrhythmia Center, Fu Wai Hospital & Cardiovascular Institute, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College, China. Dr. Hua received his M.D. from Shanghai Medical University in 1985 and than Ph.D. from Graduate School of Peking Union Medical College . He joined Fu Wai Hospital & Cardiovascular Institute in 1985 and became full Professor of Cardiology in 1999. He was trained in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology in The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia , from 1994-1996. His main work now is on clinical cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, cardiac arrhythmias service. He is now service as president-elected of Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology（CSPE）and chairman of Cardiac Pacing Committee of CSPE. He is also the Chair of Scientific program Sub-committe of APHRS. He is deputy editor-in chief of Chinese Journal of Cardiac Arrhythmias. He is Fellow of Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).

Dr Weijian Huang is the Chief Physician of Research institute of the His-Purkinje System Pacing of Wenzhou Medical University and Chief Physician of the Cardiac Medical Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University.

Dr. Lloyd began practicing medicine at Emory in 2007—he specializes in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. His areas of clinical interest and research include arrhythmias, electrophysiology lab, and pacemaker. Dr. Lloyd’s organizational leadership memberships include the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Dr Daniel Lustgarten is from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He is an internationally recognised expert in heart failure pacing, rate optimisation, and conduction system pacing. His work focuses on aligning pacing rate, AV timing, and physiological activation to improve heart failure outcomes and reduce atrial arrhythmias, bridging device programming with clinical benefit. He has been a driver of Bachmann’s bundle pacing of the atria.

Dr Shunmuga Ponnuswamy is from the Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, India. He is an internationally recognised expert in left bundle branch pacing, particularly in complex anatomies and challenging clinical scenarios. He is known for technical innovation, high-volume experience, and global education through workshops and live case demonstrations.

Dr Pugazhendhi Vijayaraman Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Geisinger Health. He is a global leader in conduction system pacing, renowned for being the pioneer of the technique and driving its widespread clinical adoption. Through major registries, trials, and consensus documents, he has shaped implantation techniques, definitions of capture, and clinical outcomes. He is also internationally recognised for his role in education and dissemination of CSP best practices.

Dr Zachary Whinnett is from Imperial College London, specialising in haemodynamics, pacing rate optimisation, and physiological device programming. His work provides key mechanistic insights into how pacing strategies influence heart failure outcomes, bridging device therapy with cardiovascular physiology.
