About New Zealand

Nau mai, haere mai, ki Aotearoa
Welcome to New Zealand

New Zealand, or Aotearoa, has two main islands (North and South) separated by a stretch of water called the Cook Strait. We are located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and are home to just over 4.5 million people.
September marks the beginning of spring in the Southern Hemisphere. The general climate lingers above 60 degrees Fahrenheit (16 degrees Celsius) throughout most of the country.
We are an outdoor playground open year-round for skiing, surfing, fishing, boating, biking, hiking, camping, diving, snorkelling. All on our doorstep.
Our Regional information below has been compiled to give you an idea of the diversity of our regions and resources within.
