Professor Sana Al-Khatib is a cardiac electrophysiologist and Professor of Medicine at Duke University, and the current President-Elect of the Heart Rhythm Society. She is internationally recognised for her leadership in evidence-based arrhythmia care, clinical outcomes research, and guideline development, with major contributions to device therapy, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation management. Dr Al-Khatib has played a central role in shaping international consensus documents and guidelines, and is widely respected for her commitment to patient-centred care, health equity, and advancing the science and practice of electrophysiology.

Professor Mina K. Chung is a cardiac electrophysiologist at the Cleveland Clinic and the current President of the Heart Rhythm Society. She is internationally recognised for her contributions to atrial fibrillation, device therapy, rhythm monitoring, and outcomes research. Dr Chung has played a central role in major clinical trials, guideline writing, and consensus documents, and is widely respected for her leadership in evidence-based, patient-centred arrhythmia care.

Dr Curila is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with substantial background in physiological pacing and CIED implantations. They initiated and established the conduction system pacing program in our center in 2015 and were then among the first centers in Europe to start a left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) program in 2018.

Dr Lustgarten has made significant basic contributions to the fields of cardiac ablation and device therapy. He is recognized for his work exploring the use of cryotherapy in the setting of cardiac ablation, and additionally is a recognized expert in the field of selective site pacing.

Dr Shunmuga Ponnusamy is from the Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, India. He is an internationally recognised expert in left bundle branch pacing, particularly in complex anatomies and challenging clinical scenarios. He is known for technical innovation, high-volume experience, and global education through workshops and live case demonstrations.

Dr Vijayaraman obtained his medical degree from Madurai Medical College and completed his residency at Jacobi Medical Center. He completed his fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center.Dr Vijayaraman specialises in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac ablations, cardiac device implantation, His bundle pacing and Watchman. His clinical interests include electrophysiology. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr Zachary Whinnett is from Imperial College London, specialising in haemodynamics, pacing rate optimisation, and physiological device programming. His work provides key mechanistic insights into how pacing strategies influence heart failure outcomes, bridging device therapy with cardiovascular physiology.
