The venue for the Climate Change and Business Conference is Te Pokapū | Aotea Centre, conveniently located in the heart of the city. 

The Centre's position in the middle of the city center means shopping, dining, accommodation and entertainment options are all within easy walking distance, as are public transport options. 

The Centre is located on the edge of Aotea Square at the top of Queen Street, Auckland's main CBD street. The origin of the Centre's name is Motu Aotea, the Māori name for Great Barrier Island which is the largest offshore island of New Zealand and approximately 90km from downtown Auckland. 

The Aotea Centre has undergone a major refurbishment in 2019 and showcases new and fresh décor and technology.

Public Transport

The Aotea Centre is a short walk from public transport bus stops located in Queen Street. Visit Auckland Transport to see what public transport options are available for travelling to and from Aotea Centre and plan your trip with Auckland Transport's journey planner. 

Parking

The Civic Car Park is located beneath Aotea Square. Entry is via Lower Greys Avenue off Mayoral Drive. It is the closest parking building to Aotea Centre. Click here for more information.

Bike Parking

A double stack bike rack is located outside the Events Cinema Queen Street - 2 minutes walk from the Aotea Centre.


From the Airport

SkyBus - has currently suspended services.  Please visit their website to check if services have resumed.

Taxis and Shuttles

Taxi and shuttle pick up is located outside the domestic airport arrivals area. Indicative fares from the airport to the city is between NZ$38 - NZ$75 one-way for a taxi and shuttles (shuttles are $35 for one person plus $8 for each extra person together in the same group). For specific fare pricing, contact the taxi and shuttle companies directly. Both Auckland Co-op Taxis and Corporate Cabs offset their emissions.

Rideshare  

The Rideshare zone is located behind the multi-story carpark at the domestic terminal. Uber, Ola, and Zoomy drive-partners are available.
