Indigenous Peoples and First Nations Wānanga Pre-AF2025
Sunday 12 October | 10am to 5pm AF2025 begins with a time of Wānanga and Talanoa, of building relationships and networks and connections and a warm welcome for our international Indigenous whānau, and First Nations. More information will be sent to those indicating their interest in attending. This is a free event.*Registrations for the Indigenous Wānanga are currently at capacity but we want to make sure we can connect and provide a meaningful discussion and networking meeting for all Indigenous registrants so please do register on the waiting list and we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm registrations

Whāia te Taniwha : A major new exhibition of work by Māori artists who explore the power of these shapeshifting tūpuna. Opening in September.
He Kapuka Oneone : A Handful of Soil - an expansive collection exhibition exploring the relationship between tākata and whenua – people and land – through Aotearoa New Zealand’s art history.

If you select this option you will be asked to provide a brief summary of your interest in the role in arts, plus a brief summary of your own experience or practice. The aim is to engage with, and be inclusive of a wide range of practices and knowledges, so if your experience or practice falls outside those listed here, please feel free to articulate this.
We will be in touch if you are successful with further information and payment details.
