Registration Terms and Conditions

• Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Conference
• All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%
• If you cancel your registration prior to 10 August 2026 your fee will be refunded less a cancellation fee of A$150.  Cancellations made after 10 August 2026 are non-refundable
• The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
  • Conference delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you)       
  • Organisers of future Australasian Sleep Association events
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
• By registering for the Conference you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Conference, in which you may appear, to be used by the Association in promotion of the Conference.
• By registering for the Conference, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the Data Consent Policy. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information Presented at the Conference

Although the Australasian Sleep Association strives to present only current and accurate information at its Conference, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and the Association will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at Sleep DownUnder 2026.

Legal Claim 

This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Program 

The Association reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

Accommodation Terms and Conditions (if applicable)

• Prices are in AU dollars and include a Goods and Services tax of 10%.
• A credit card guarantee is taken at the time at the booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below. 
• Rates provided for each of the hotels are specified to the Conference dates only and are room only unless specified. 
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed. 
• You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in. 
• Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge. 

Rydges South Bank

• To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge one night's deposit to this card 30 days prior to your arrival. The remaining payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. 
• If you cancel your booking between 8 October 2026 and 26 October 2026, your deposit payment will not be refunded. If you cancel on or after 8 October 2026 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
• Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure. 
• A 1.5% Surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
• Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Novotel Brisbane South Bank

• To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge the full amount to this card 30 days prior to your arrival. 
• If you cancel your booking on or after 8 October 2026, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay.
• Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure. 
• A 1.4% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. 
• Check-in time: From 2PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.

Mantra South Bank

• To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking only. Full payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. 
• If your booking is for 3 nights or less, and you cancel your booking between 8 October and 26 October, a one night cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card provided. If your booking is for 4 nights or more, and you cancel your booking between 8 October and 26 October, a two night cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card provided. 
• If you cancel booking on or after 26 October, or fail to check in on your scheduled arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided. 
• Any incidentals expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure. 
• A 1.1% surcharge applies to all MasterCard, Visa and AMEX payments. A 2% surcharge applies to all Union Pay payments. 
• Check-in time: From 2PM. Check-out time: By 10AM.

Hyatt Regency

• To secure your reservation, a credit card guarantee for the full stay is required. The credit card details provided via the online booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel. Please note, the hotel will charge one night's deposit to this card 30 days prior to your arrival. The remaining payment should be made directly with the hotel on check-in. 
• If you cancel your booking between 8 October and 26 October, your deposit payment will not be refunded. If you cancel your booking on or after 26 October, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay will be charged to the credit card provided.
• Any incidental expenses or additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled directly with the hotel upon departure.
• A 1.7% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. 
• Check-in time: From 3PM. Check-out time: By 11AM.
