Biography

Hui-Chun (Genine) Hsu, PhD, RN, is an Executive Director of the Taiwan Association of Clinical Diabetes . She has extensive experience in primary care–based diabetes education, quality improvement, and workforce development. Her work focuses on integrating people-centered care, diabetes self-management education (DSMES), and digital health innovations, including AI-supported clinical and educational tools, into routine practice. She has led multiple national initiatives in Taiwan to strengthen diabetes care quality, address social determinants of health, and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Hsu is actively involved in international collaboration and regularly contributes to regional and global diabetes education forums.
