Barbara Eichorst, MPH, RD, CDCES is Vice President of Health Care Programs at the American Diabetes Association and a global leader in advancing diabetes, obesity, and cardiometabolic health. She leads the infrastructure for diabetes health management, education, support, and obesity care, operating across health systems and communities in the United States and expanding internationally. Barbara has worked with healthcare professionals in more than 120 countries, helping translate scientific evidence into scalable systems that improve care and outcomes for people living with diabetes and obesity worldwide.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yazid Jalaludin is Professor of Paediatrics at Universiti Malaya and Senior Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist at UMMC and UMSC. He serves as Deputy Dean (Undergraduate Studies) and is President of Diabetes Malaysia (2025–2027). A former President of regional and national paediatric organisations, he holds key leadership roles in endocrinology and paediatrics. Widely recognised, he has received the Outstanding Asian Paediatrician Award (2024) and fellowships from the Academy of Science Malaysia and Academy of Medicine of Malaysia. A prolific clinician-scientist, he has over 120 publications, with research shaping paediatric diabetes, obesity, and metabolic health policy across the Asia-Pacific region.
