Tamale Elvis is an MPhil in Population Health Sciences student at the University of Cambridge and a Ugandan medical doctor. His work focuses on strengthening diabetes and NCD care in low-resource settings through digital health innovation, implementation research, and person-centred approaches to improving continuity of care in sub-Saharan Africa

Caihong Li,Head Nurse of the Case Management Department at Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital,China.She holds a Master’s degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. With 12 years of experience in diabetes nursing and education,She currently serves as vice chairperson of the youth committee under the Diabetes Nursing Professional Committee,Chinese Nursing Association.

Victoria is Senior Clinical Dietitian leading Dietetics at Western Sydney Diabetes and a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Her research explores CGM-guided dietary interventions for type 2 diabetes. Passionate about innovation and patient-centred care, she challenges traditional models, educates the community, and drives healthier outcomes through nutrition.

Steven Trawley is a behavioural researcher at The Cairnmillar Institute with a background in cognitive psychology. Over the past decade, his research has focused on improving diabetes care, particularly how people with diabetes perceive and use treatment technologies.

Dr. Guo Jia is a Professor and Vice Dean at the Xiangya School of Nursing, Central South University. A Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) and a Young Chang Jiang Scholar, her research focuses on diabetes prevention and evidence-based practice.

Puja Sharda is a Certified Diabetes Educator and diabetes nurse educator at Sengkang General Hospital, Singapore. With 14 years of experience as a diabetes specialist nurse, she provides comprehensive diabetes education with a particular interest in people with type 1 diabetes, demonstrating expertise in clinical diabetes management and patient care.

Sumathy is a program manager at Western Sydney Diabetes, and doing a PhD with Sydney Health Literacy Lab, The University of Sydney. Her PhD is on virtual care models for diabetes management with a focus on exploring the perspectives of patients and providers to support patient-centred care in diabetes consultations.
