Join diabetes clinicians and educators for an interactive Education Hub session exploring the evaluation and implementation of active safety pen needles within hospital, clinical and aged care environments.
Through a facilitated panel discussion, attendees will hear firsthand experiences from two healthcare organisations that have recently undertaken safety pen needle evaluations. Speakers will share the drivers for change, assessment processes, implementation considerations, key outcomes and lessons learned from their respective journeys.
The session will conclude with a practical hands on demonstration, providing participants with the opportunity to trial active safety pen needle devices and discuss their experiences directly with clinical experts.
