Neale Cohen is currently the head of Clinical Services at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Melbourne. He is an endocrinologist in clinical practice for over 30 years at the Baker Institute. In his current position he is responsible for the management of one of the largest diabetes outpatient services in Victoria, now recognized as an IDF centre of excellence.
He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Queensland and Monash University.
A/Prof Cohen is head of the Diabetes Clinical Research laboratory at The Baker Institute and has wide ranging clinical research interests and publications including technology and diabetes, indigenous diabetes, and novel models of care. He is currently Co-Lead of the Diabetes Program at The Baker Institute leading 6 research labs.

Associate Professor Samantha Hocking is an Endocrinologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a Clinical Academic at the University of Sydney. She is the current president of the National Association of Clinical Obesity Services.
A/Prof Hocking’s research interests are focused on the metabolic complications of obesity. She is passionate about education to improve the quality of obesity care in Australia. In addition, she treats patients with at the Metabolism and Obesity Service, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
