Registration Terms and Conditions

  • All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
  • If you cancel your registration prior to 7 February 2025 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of NZ$100.00. Cancellations made after 7 February will not be refunded.
  • Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Symposium.
  • The Privacy Act 2020 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent. If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
    • Symposium delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you)
    • Distributed to Symposium sponsors and exhibitors, including session attendance lists if applicable to a session sponsor (by consenting, this means you have given your permission for third parties such as our sponsors and exhibitors to send you communication).
    • Organisers of future Goodfellow Unit events
    • Included in the Symposium App
  • If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Symposium is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
  • If travelling to the Symposium from out of town, we recommend you take out personal travel insurance for the duration of your stay.
  • By registering for the Goodfellow Symposium you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Goodfellow Symposium which you are in may be used by The Goodfellow Unit in promotion of the Symposium.
  • By registering for the Symposium, you are consenting for your data to be captured and used as per the Data Processing Consent Policy.

Information Presented at the Goodfellow Symposium

The information presented at the Symposium is solely intended for Health Care Professionals. You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements. 
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand.
Although the Goodfellow Unit strives to present only current and accurate information at the Goodfellow Symposium, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness.
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and The Goodfellow Unit will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use.

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.  You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at the Goodfellow Symposium.

Legal Claim

This agreement is subject to the law of New Zealand. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, New Zealand shall be the sole court of jurisdiction.

Programme

The Goodfellow Unit reserve the right to modify the programme, which is published as an indication only.

Insurance

If you are travelling to the Conference/Meeting/Congress, it is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

  • All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
  • A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
  • Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Symposium dates only.
  • Rates provided for each of the hotels are for room only unless otherwise specified.
  • Please read the terms and conditions carefully as strict cancellation policies are in place at all hotels.

Sebel Manukau

  • A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee your room.  Full payment is required on check in.
  • If you cancel your booking after 17 February 2025 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the credit card will be charged for the full stay.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
  • All guests are responsible for settling the full hotel bill including any additional nights booked while at the hotel on check-in and any incidentals incurred are to be paid upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge of 2% to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
  • Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.

Ramada by Wyndham Manukau

  • A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge the full payment for your accommodation on or after 17 February 2025.
  • If you make your booking after 17 February 2025, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately by the hotel.
  • If you cancel your booking on or between 17 February 2025 to 13 March 2025 you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 13 March 2025 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, the payment will not be refunded.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a 3% surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
  • Check-in time is 2:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am.
