"Individuals with cardiovascular disease are at increased risk of acute infections and infection related complications. This non promotional, medical led meeting is tailored specifically for cardiologists and focuses on the impact of infectious diseases on cardiovascular health and outcomes in patients with, or at risk of, cardiovascular disease. During this session, the speaker will present evidence examining the relationship between infectious disease and cardiometabolic health, with a focus on influenza, herpes zoster, and RSV. The discussion will explore emerging data on infection related cardiovascular risk. The session will emphasise an evidence based, clinically relevant perspective to support informed discussion within routine cardiovascular practice.
