Biography

Dr Mark Webster is a highly respected general and interventional cardiologist who gained his experience in New Zealand and at the Mayo Clinic. While he is primarily engaged as an interventional cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital, Dr Webster occasionally works in collaboration with interventional cardiology colleagues at Ascot Angiography. Dr Webster’s research interests include anti-platelet drugs, diabetes and new interventional devices.

Biography

Kyra is an advanced trainee in cardiology within the Auckland training scheme. Supported by the Heart Foundation, she completed a 6 month research fellowship in heart failure at Te Toka Tumai Auckland in 2025. Her research interest is in heart failure aetiology in young adults.

Alexander is an interventional cardiology fellow at Christchurch Hospital. During his advanced training in cardiology, he completed research with the electrophysiology department at Waikato Hospital looking into a novel AF pathway to improve care. This research is part of his work towards his Master's degree.
