Dan is a Specialist Cardiac Sonographer from the USA currently working at Te Toka Tumai. Dan moved with his wife Adryah from San Antonio, Texas to NZ in March 2024 to explore a new country and expand his career in echocardiography. He is the Valve Clinic sonographer lead at ADHB and oversees echo training of registrars/fellows in the adult echo, ED, and CVICU departments. He enjoys fishing the Hauraki gulf and playing the amazing NZ golf courses.

Daman Kaur is a nurse practitioner working in Cardiology Hawkes bay, and is known in her field of integrated rural remote access clinics; and received the Inaugural Clinical Innovation award from the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) for her work. Daman has also worked on integrated MDT models of care and presented her work at multinational platforms. Daman is current co-chair of the National Heart Failure working group and an active member of CSANZ. Daman is passionate about improving access and equity and clinical outcomes for all.

Stacey Paintin is the Structural Heart Clinical Nurse Specialist at Christchurch Public Hospital. She plays a key role in the development and coordination of the hospital’s structural heart programme, with particular interests in TAVI and TEER.
Her work focuses on patient selection, procedural coordination, and post-procedural follow-up. She values the multidisciplinary nature of her role and collaborates closely with the team to advance the structural heart programme at Christchurch Public Hospital.
