Registration Terms and Conditions

Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Meeting.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%.
If you cancel your registration on or prior to 29 January 2027 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of AUD$25. If you cancel your registration between 30 January 2027 and 30 March 2027 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of AUD150. Cancellations made after 1 April 2027 are non-refundable.
The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent. If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
- Meeting delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you).
- Organisers of future Australian Pain Society and Pain in Childhood - IASP Special Interest Group events
If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Meeting is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
By registering for the Meeting, you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Meeting, in which you may appear, to be used by the organisers or host entities in promotion of the Meeting.
By registering for the Meeting, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the “Data Consent Policy”. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information Presented at the Meeting

The information presented at the Meeting is solely intended for Health Care Professionals.
You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements.
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand.

Although the APS & ISPP 2027 Joint Scientific Meeting strives to present only current and accurate information at its Meeting, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness.

You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at APS & ISPP 2027 Joint Scientific Meeting.

Legal Claim

This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction.

Program

The APS & ISPP 2027 Joint Scientific Meeting reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only.

Insurance

If you are travelling to the Meeting, it is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit.

Abstract Publication

Accepted Abstracts will be included in an Abstract Supplement.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

Prices are in AU dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 10%.
A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Conference dates only.
Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
Guests will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in. If they do not wish to use their credit card, then alternatively they can pay a deposit on check in.

Dorsett Hotel

A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge the full payment for your accommodation on 11 March 2027. If you make your booking after 11 March 2027, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately.
If you cancel your booking on or after 11 March 2027 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach

A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking.
