The New Zealand Infrastructure Commission was pleased to present the 2026 Infrastructure Symposium: Pathway to 2060. The symposium explored how New Zealand can overcome its most pressing infrastructure challenges and included the latest update on the National Infrastructure Plan.

Speakers from a range of sectors shared their insights and experiences as we looked to improve the infrastructure system, lift the country's performance, and improve the wellbeing of all New Zealanders. With the symposium in Auckland this year, there was also a spotlight on Auckland's infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
