Serhiy Shershun

Serhiy Shershun is the state Commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (2009-2015, 2022 – to date). As a State Commissioner of the AMCU has focused on the investigation of bid rigging and unfair competition. Also, Serhiy Shershun is responsible for the international cooperation of the AMCU, especially with ICN, OECD, and UNCTAD. Together with EU experts participated in the development of key legal acts in the sphere of protection of economic competition and public procurement.  Worked as a partner at the law firm, advised in antitrust and competition matters, and dispute resolution. Started a public career as a Senior Expert in the Legal Department at the Administration of the President of Ukraine.During legal practice, Mr. Shershun several times has been awarded by the international ranking agencies Legal500 and BestLawyers, as a leading expert in the sphere of competition law.Mr. Shershun was awarded the Diploma of the Parliament of Ukraine for his significant contribution to the development of the legal system of Ukraine.
