Jens Roat Kultima

Jens Roat Kultima, Data Science Specialist at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, has an international career with research, industry and government experience across the globe. With an engineering degree and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, he has 12 years of experience in computational biology and has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles in some of the world’s leading journals, including Science, Nature and Nature Biotechnology. Working for the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority for 4 years, Jens has experience in computational collusion and cartel detection and has developed a sophisticated analytical tool, Bid Viewer, aimed at identifying collusion in public procurement. Several national competition agencies are currently using and co-developing Bid Viewer, which is available to any national competition authority worldwide.
