Jeanne-Marie Grobler

Jeanne-Marie Grobler is a Senior Investigator in the Cartels Team working for the New Zealand Commerce Commission having joined the NZCC in 2020.  She holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Forensic Science and Investigations from the University of South Africa and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. 

Jeanne-Marie has 8 years of investigative experience having previously worked as a specialised forensic investigator in South Africa for several financial institutions with a focus on transaction monitoring, money laundering, fraud, whistleblowing, politically exposed persons as well as various internal, workplace and employee investigations across Africa.  Her current work focuses on the investigation of cartel conduct, advocacy, and leniency applications within New Zealand
