Fernanda Machado 

Fernanda Machado is Deputy Superintendent at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). She is a Specialist in Competition Law from Getulio Vargas Foundation Law School and she holds a postgraduate degree in Public Law from the Institute of Public Law in Brasília. She is a PhD Candidate at NOVA School of Law in Lisbon. She has been working at the Brazilian Competition Authority since 2002. Her professional experience includes cartel investigations and negotiation of settlement agreements in a variety of markets such as infrastructure projects, financial services and agriculture.
