Blake Donald is currently a Principal Investigator in the Competition Enforcement and Cartels Branch at the ACCC. Blake has been involved in leading a range of criminal and civil investigations at the ACCC involving domestic and international cartel conduct.
After completing a double degree in Law and Commerce, Blake commenced his career at the ACCC as a graduate in 2015 and has worked in cartel enforcement since.
As Principal Investigator, Blake has:
worked on the ACCC’s investigation into international shipping lines, resulting in the first modern criminal cartel prosecution in Australia and ultimately criminal fines over $80 million AUD;
participated in over ten search warrants, including as the Executing Officer;
worked on joint investigations with the AFP and NSW Police; and
led the ACCC’s investigation into BlueScope Steel Limited (judgment currently reserved by the Federal Court).
