Abstract Submission Process

1. Create an Account:
   To submit an abstract, please click the 'Create New Account' button below to register.

2. Account Holders:
   If you have already created an account to submit an abstract to CSANZ 2025, sign in with your email and password.

Prizes for Young Investigators

Ralph Reader Prize

• Applicants must submit their abstract via the portal and email an extended paper to the CSANZ office at info@csanz.edu.au

• The abstract will be eligible for one other prize category at the ASM, but can only be presented in one prize final.

Submission Guidelines 

1. Abstract Formatting:

   • Download the abstract template and save it to your computer.

   • Do not modify the template layout in any way.

   • Maximum 250 words (excluding the title). Abstracts over this limit will be returned for submission. 

2. Formatting Specifications:

   • Arial 11pt font, with single-line spacing.

   • Do not include author names or affiliations in the abstract text. These details will be entered into the online submission form.

3. Structured Abstracts:

   For formal academic publications, it is recommended to use a structured format (Introduction, Method, Results, and Discussion - IMRaD).

   • Referencing guidelines:

     For spelling, units, and reference conventions, see Heart, Lung and Circulation Guide to Authors.

4. Refer to abstracts from previous CSANZ meetings for examples.
