Auckland's Future, Now

Wednesday 5 August, 8am - 4:30pm, Cordis Hotel, 83 Symonds Street, Auckland

It’s time to act together and advocate together for a better Auckland.

Auckland’s Future, Now is a day for Auckland business leaders to have a mature and robust conversation about challenges and opportunities our region is facing and the actions we need to support our people, our communities and our businesses.

COVID-19's impact on Auckland is outlined in this report, which provides economic context, analysis and commentary to facilitate the discussion at Auckland’s Future, Now.

The day will be opened by ATEED CE Nick Hill and Mayor Phil Goff. Keynote speakers include Rt Hon Sir John Key and Rob Fyfe and the day will conclude with a Q & A with Rt Hon Helen Clark.

Panellists and participants at this invite-only event will share perspectives and practical expertise on the constraints we face and the opportunities ahead.

These insights will help form a business-led agenda for Auckland’s recovery, practical steps for Auckland partners to own, work on, and advocate for, to signal to decision-makers, international and local business that we are leading the way to a transformed regional economy.

Auckland’s Future, Now is proudly hosted by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) – the region’s economic development agency, and an Auckland Council-controlled organisation.

If Covid-19 Alert Levels within New Zealand move to Level 2 or higher, the event will go ahead on a virtual platform.
