David leads the CF Airway Research Group in Adelaide, where he has been developing methods to deliver gene correction to CF lungs using lentiviral gene vectors. He led the team that won the 2023 Eureka Prize (Interdisciplinary Research) for their work in helping develop lung ventilation assessment using X-ray velocimetry.
