Professor Scott Bell is a respiratory physician who has worked at The Prince Charles Hospital since 1996 where he secured state-wide centre status for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre and was its director from 1998 until 2016. As a clinician scientist, he leads the Lung Bacteria Laboratory at UQ.

He recently completed his PhD through The University of Queensland exploring the role of wearable technology in chronic disease, with a focus on characterising pulmonary exacerbation in cystic fibrosis using non-invasive digital biomarkers.

Danni Li is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne. In collaboration with researchers from University of Adelaide, her PhD project aims at providing the safety evidence of ETI in pregnancy and breastfeeding, and unraveling the effectiveness of early ETI treatment to delay the onset of CF pathology.

Katerina Theocharous is a Paediatric Physician Basic Trainee at the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick. She completed her BMed MD and BSc(Med)Honours at the University of New South Wales. Her Honours project examined relationships between dysglycaemia and clinical status in young children at the Sydney Children's Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.

Biography
Dr Geshani Jayasuriya is a Staff Specialist with the Departments of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW), Sydney.
She is also a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney and completed a PhD with the Airways Physiology and Imaging Group at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, Sydney. Her PhD explored the utility of new paediatric lung function techniques in post bone marrow transplant patients and pulmonary magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques in paediatrics. During her PhD candidature, she introduced pulmonary MRI to CHW. Her ongoing research interests encompass a range of paediatric respiratory, sleep and adolescent research areas.
