Dr Bulamu is a senior research fellow in Health Economics with the Cancer Impact Program at the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute, Flinders University. Dr Bulamu provides health economics support to projects related to cancer surveillance, prevention, treatment and survivorship. Dr Bulamu has a growing national and emerging international reputation with proven experience in undertaking high quality health economic research including measurement and valuation of health outcomes, economic evaluation and understanding preferences for health interventions. Dr Bulamu has secured over $4 million in research funding including an Early Career fellowship (2023) with the Cancer Council of South Australia.

Christine is a Senior Research Fellow in Melbourne Health Economics at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on economic evaluations, health measurement, patient-reported outcomes, and consumer preferences in healthcare. Christine has held roles at Flinders University, University of Adelaide, University of Birmingham, and the World Bank. She has published in high-impact journals and is a member of the International Health Economics Association and the Australian Health Economics Society.

Introducing equity into health economic evaluation

Dr Jackie Roseleur is an early career health services and health economics researcher at Flinders University. Her work includes evaluating the cost-effectiveness of a national lung cancer screening program for Australia, identifying inequities in cancer care pathways using large administrative datasets and supporting several projects focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. She has a particular interest in equity and in methods to explicitly include equity considerations in decision-making.

Associate Professor Barbara de Graaff is a health economist at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania. Her work spans a range of chronic disease areas, including interstitial lung diseases, Parkinson's and liver diseases. Her expertise lies in using large administrative datasets to conduct health economic evaluations and epidemiological research.
