Dr. Hind Al-Abbasi is a final year respiratory medicine trainee in Perth, WA. Dr. Al-Abbasi has a special interest in bronchiectasis and infectious lung diseases. She hopes to see the world free of TB and is working to achieve the WHO's goal of ending the global TB epidemic by 2035. Dr. Al-Abbasi has been awarded a fellowship in bronchiectasis and cystic fibrosis Perth, WA in 2025.

Associate Professor Anthony Byrne is an experienced Respiratory Physician at St Vincent’s and the UNSW. He leads the TB service and co-leads the multi-disciplinary, Long COVID service at SVH. Professor Byrne is a global researcher leading interventional and observational studies related to TB, COVID-19 and respiratory health locally and internationally.

Dr Simone Barry is a respiratory physician working at Royal Adelaide Hospital. She is the Head SA Tuberculosis Service. Commensurate with that position she serves as the state representative for National TB Advisory Committee to provide expert advice to the Australian Government on the prevention and control of TB. She holds a Master of Public Health Epidemiology from Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her PhD doctoral thesis examined microRNA as a biomarker for TB.

He is an associate professor of medicine at the University of New South Wales and clinical lead of the TB service and (co-lead) of Long Covid services at SVH.
