Dr Bacopanos is undertaking a research fellowship through the Institute for Respiratory Health in Bronchiectasis and Cystic Fibrosis.

Dr. Ophir Bar-On is a respiratory physician from Schneider Children's Medical Center, the largest pediatric hospital in Israel. He is currently a research fellow at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Dr. Bar-On focuses on microbiology studies in people with Cystic Fibrosis and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia.

Ka Yan and Hei Tung are postgraduate students on the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program at the University of Sydney. They completed this collaborative research during their research semester.

Dr Montgomery is a senior research officer at The Kids Research Institute Australia and an honorary research associate at the University of Western Australia. To date, their career has focused on the effects of respiratory viral infections, using in vitro airway models to elucidate mechanisms driving host responses.

Mohammed Chahine is a pharmacist by profession who transitioned from community pharmacy to industry in 2019 since then Mohammed has spent the past 6 years focusing on Respiratory Medicine. Mohammed currently works at GSK as part of the Respiratory Medical Affairs team as a Senior Medical Science Liaison.

Catherine is a Policy and Project Officer at Lung Foundation Australia focused on immunisation and tobacco control advocacy. She holds a Master of Public Health and a PhD on military deployment health. Catherine is an Adjunct Fellow at The University of Queensland’s School of Public Health.

Dr Simone Barry is a respiratory physician working at Royal Adelaide Hospital. She is the Head SA Tuberculosis Service. Commensurate with that position she serves as the state representative for National TB Advisory Committee to provide expert advice to the Australian Government on the prevention and control of TB. She holds a Master of Public Health Epidemiology from Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her PhD doctoral thesis examined microRNA as a biomarker for TB.

A/Professor Anthony Byrne is a senior Staff specialist Respiratory Physician at St Vincent’s Public and Private Hospital ins Sydney as well as a Global Health Researcher and expert advisor to the World Health Organisation. He is an associate professor of medicine at the University of New South Wales and clinical lead of the TB service and (co-lead) of Long Covid services at SVH.
