Lucy is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Monash University in the School of Physics and Astronomy. With a multidisciplinary background in anatomy and developmental biology, she focuses on utilising Phase-Contrast Computed Tomography (PC-CT) Region-of-Interest (ROI) imaging to generate low radiation dose, high-resolution 3D scans for clinical diagnostics of Lung Cancer.

Lorenzo D'Amico is a biomedical engineer who graduated from the School of Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste in 2024. He worked on lung fibrosis characterisation at the SYRMEP beamline of Elettra. He is a research fellow at Monash University, working of the application of phase-contrast for lung cancer detection.
