Elyssa Lee (Tzin Yi) has completed her BPT training in Nepean Hospital and will be a first year General AT at Blacktown Hospital in 2025. She has long-standing passion for the respiratory field, with interest in pulmonary oncology. Elyssa is also dedicated to medical education for junior doctors and students.

Dr. Christine Lu is an intern at Royal Melbourne Hospital with a keen interest in Respiratory Medicine. She is passionate about clinical research, medical education, and advancing patient care, aiming to make meaningful contributions to the field.

Dr. Sanjeevan Muruganandan is a respiratory and sleep physician (FRACP) who directs Victoria's first Pleural Medicine Unit at Northern Health and is now the leading site for pleural research in Victoria. He completed his PhD on malignant pleural diseases under Prof. Lee, supported by an NHMRC scholarship. He sits as a Treasurer for the Victorian branch of TSANZ and is part TSANZ guideline committee for recognition of competency in intercostal catheter insertion, thoracic ultrasound and bronchoscopy. His research focuses on using digital solutions to reduce healthcare utilisation in people with pleural diseases.

Jelena is Thoracic Medicine Physician at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She is currently undertaking an interventional pulmonology fellowship and has recently commenced a Master of Philosophy in advanced lung cancer.

Dr Vennalaganti is a basic physician trainee employed in the Western Sydney Local Health District, primarily working at Westmead and Blacktown Public Hospitals. He has a special interest in interventional respiratory medicine.

Dr Kevin Wen is the postgraduate respiratory and sleep disorders fellow at Westmead Hospital. He has a special interest in asthma, lung cancer, pulmonary embolism and pleural disease.

A/Prof. Badiei is a staff specialist in the department of thoracic medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He initially completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering and then a PhD in Medicine prior to embarking on a career in medicine. His basic and initial advanced physician training was at the RAH before completing his fellowship at the pleural medicine unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia. He currently works as an interventional pulmonologist and is the pleural lead at the RAH. His research interests are in the area of interventional pulmonology and thoracic imaging.​
