Biography

Jarrod Warner is the manager of Clinical Quality at RSHQ. His team is responsible for licensing medical providers to perform functions in the Queensland resource sector. Jarrod is a past-president of ANZSRS, former scientific director at Princess Alexandra Hospital Respiratory Laboratory, and chair of the TSANZ national community spirometry program.

Biography

Leanne is a Respiratory Scientist with a passion for spirometry training. Leanne and her colleagues have worked with First Nations Health workers for over 10years developing a culturally safe and responsive spirometry training program. The insights gained could be used to develop clinical skills training for other First Nations clinicians.

Laurence is a Senior Respiratory Scientist of over 18 years at Monash Medical Centre. He is a PhD candidate at Monash University. He is part of Monash’s research group which develops and implements innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment of VCD/ILO and has 20+ publications on asthma, COPD and VCD/ILO.

Biography

Dr Blake is an early career researcher (4.5 years post-doc) and has >10 years’ experience in paediatric lung function. Her current research aims to improve knowledge of the mechanisms of early CF lung disease and improve current clinical outcome measures to aid in appropriate CF management.

Simon is an experimental physiologist with strong interests in heart-lung diseases, exercise testing and measurement, and enabling a scientifically-enriched culture amongst clinicians. He teaches Exercise Physiology and leads a CardioRespiratory Science and Medicine Initiative at Campbelltown Hospital.
