Dr Bastien Lechat is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow and Research Fellow at Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI): Sleep Health. His research interest include sleep health, novel technologies, digital health and public health.

Dr Katrin Mannes is a second year Respiratory Advanced Trainee, currently working at Northern Beaches Hospital.

Dr Lalitha Menon completed her Respiratory and Sleep Medicine training in 2023. She undertook a fellowship in Sleep Medicine in 2024, with half the year spent training in Pulmonary Physiology. She is currently completing an Airways Fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

Norm Morris is a Professor of Physiotherapy who holds a joint research position at Griffith University and The Prince Charles Hospital. Prof Morris leads a program of research investigating factors which limit exercise tolerance in chronic lung and heart disease.

Dr Nilsen is a biomedical Engineer and respiratory physiologist. He specialises in novel measurements of lung mechanics and ventilation imaging.

Yaoyao is a PhD candidate from the Allergy and Lung Health Unit, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, the University of Melbourne. Her PhD research aims to explore longitudinal risk factors for obstructive sleep apnoea and identify novel phenotypes of OSA in the general population. Her PhD is fully funded by the Melbourne Research Scholarship. Yaoyao completed a Master of science in public health at Emory University in the United States, where she focused on environmental epidemiology.

Dr Blokland has research interests in cell biology, airway physiology, chronic lung disease and early detection of lung disease following bone marrow transplantation. His expertise includes complex measures of lung function, 3D imaging and molecular biology.

Dr Anna Hudson is a Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University. Her research aims to understand human respiratory physiology in health and disease including the neural control of breathing and breathlessness.
