Registration Terms and Conditions

  • Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Meeting.
  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%. 
  • Earlybird registration closes on 13 February 2025. If payment has not been received by this date, then standard rates will apply. 
  • If you cancel your registration on or prior to 13 February 2025 you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of $100. Cancellations made after 13 February 2025 are non-refundable.
  • The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
    • Meeting delegates, sponsors and exhibitors       
    • Organisers of future TSANZ Meetings events
  • If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Meeting is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
  • By registering for the Meeting you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Meeting, in which you may appear, to be used by the Association in promotion of the Meeting.
  • By registering for the Meeting, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the “Data Consent Policy”. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information Presented at the Meeting 
The information presented at the Meeting is solely intended for Health Care Professionals. 
You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements. 
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand. 

Although the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) and Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science (ANZSRS) strives to present only current and accurate information at its Meeting, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and TSANZ and ANZSRS will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct
You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at the TSANZ and ANZSRS Annual Scientific Meeting 2025.

Legal Claim
This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Program
TSANZ and ANZSRS reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

Insurance
If you are travelling to the Meeting, it is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover the duration of your visit.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions (if applicable)

  • Prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 10%. 
  • A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
  • Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Meeting dates only.  

Adelaide Riviera Hotel

  • A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge the full payment for your accommodation on or after 14th February 2025. If you make your booking after 14th February 2025, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately.  
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 14th February 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in.  If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in.
  • You will be responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked at the time of check in and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
  • Check-in time is 2pm Check-out time is 10am.

Holiday Inn Express Adelaide

  • A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge the full payment for your accommodation on or after 14th February 2025. If you make your booking after 14th February 2025, your credit card will be charged for your full stay immediately.  
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 14th February 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
  • All guests are responsible for settling the remaining balance and any additional nights booked while at the hotel and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel will apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.

Hotel Grand Chancellor

  • A credit card guarantee for one night’s deposit is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge one night’s deposit for your accommodation on 14th February 2025. If you make your booking after 14th February 2025, your credit card will be charged for one night stay immediately.  
  • If you cancel your booking on or after 3rd March 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, 100% of your booking will be charged as cancellation fee.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • You will be asked to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check in.  If you do not wish to use your credit card then alternatively you can pay a deposit on check in.

  • If you cancel your booking between 14th February 2025 and 3rd March 2025, 1 night of your full accommodation booking will be charged as cancellation fee. If you cancel your booking on or after 3rd March 2025 or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified, 100% of your booking will be charged as cancellation fee.
  • Room configurations are subject to availability and will be requested to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
  • All guests will be required to provide credit card details for pre-authorisation on check-in. If the guest does not wish to use their credit card then a deposit will be required on check-in.
