Belle is a research assistant in the Department of Paediatrics at Monash University. Her main research focus is understanding sleep architecture in paediatric populations with a high prevalence of sleep disordered breathing and excessive daytime sleepiness. She is particularly interested in how sleep is altered in children with genetic conditions, including Prader-Willi syndrome. Her current work uses highly detailed neurophysiological measures, including EEG spectral analysis, to characterise sleep patterns in these clinical populations.

Dr Tanya Gulliver is the Medical Director of the Paediatric sleep service at the John Hunter Children's Hospital.

Abigail Ford is a Registered Nurse and PhD candidate at CQUniversity. Her research interests include maternal and child health, parental help-seeking for child sleep, and digital health communication. Her research explores how parents seek, interpret, and engage with online child health information, particularly in relation to child sleep. Her work focuses on parental help-seeking behaviours, the communication of child sleep information online, and how digital health information can be made more accessible, practical, and supportive for parents and families.

Casey Mayall is a Paediatric Sleep Scientist working within a tertiary paediatric sleep service in New South Wales. Casey leads the Sleep Studies at Home program, a family-centred initiative focused on improving equitable access to paediatric sleep assessment across a large regional catchment. Her work has focused on service redesign, regional implementation, and integration of home oximetry into a multidisciplinary Ear Nose Throat- Sleep disordered breathing pathway. Casey has a particular interest in improving access to care for children and families experiencing barriers to traditional hospital-based models of care through practical, scalable, and patient-centred innovation.

Okkes Patoglu is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Paediatrics at Monash University. His research focusses on cardiorespiratory control in children with Prader-Willi syndrome, with particular interest in impaired cardiac autonomic and ventilatory control, and the impact of growth hormone therapy on clinical outcomes. His work utilises routinely collected polysomnography data to investigate sleep-disordered breathing, heart rate variability, and ventilatory control stability in children with Prader-Willi syndrome.

Linglin Jin is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Paediatrics at Monash University. Her research project focuses on identifying novel biomarkers to predict behavioral and neurocognitive outcomes in children with sleep disordered breathing, aiming to improve early detection and long-term developmental support for affected patients.

Nicole Verginis has over 25 years’ experience in paediatric sleep medicine, with a keen interest in quality management, education and research. She is the Chief Clinical Scientist of the NATA accredited Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital; which performs inpatient sleep studies, and provides a non-invasive ventilation program and home oximetry service. Nicole is a RPSGT, has the CSS and a Masters (Science) in Sleep. She is a NATA technical assessor, Immediate Past President of the Australia and New Zealand Sleep Science Association (ANZSSA); and has been involved in numerous taskforces for guidelines relating to paediatric sleep and oximetry.

Natalie holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative and Molecular Genetics from the University of New England in Australia, was an Assistant Professor in the Neurogenetics Unit at NYU School of Medicine and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Pediatric Sleep Science from the University of Western Australia. Natalie Barnett serves as Vice President of Clinical Research at Nanit. Natalie is the founder of Nanit Lab, the clinical research arm of Nanit. Her research interests sit at the intersection of pediatric sleep science, real-world data at scale, passive/sensorless monitoring technology, maternal health and the broader family wellbeing ecosystem.

Dr Mimi Lu is a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician at The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Her clinical interests in paediatric sleep medicine include sleep disordered breathing and restless sleep. Her current research focuses on sleep-associated movements in children.
