Central Sleep Apnoea Management: The Latest Evidence and a Practical Clinical Guide.
Central sleep apnoea (CSA) remains a complex and evolving area of sleep medicine, with advances in our understanding of pathophysiology, diagnostic approaches, and treatment options continuing to emerge. This symposium will provide clinicians with a comprehensive update on the latest evidence and guideline recommendations for CSA management, followed by a practical discussion on applying these insights in routine clinical practice. Internationally recognised sleep physician Dr Rami Khayat will review current research, recent guideline updates, and emerging therapeutic approaches. Prof Garun Hamilton will then translate the evidence into practice through real-world case studies, practical management strategies, and discussion of common challenges faced by clinicians. Together, the speakers will provide attendees with evidence-based and clinically relevant guidance to enhance the assessment and management of patients with CSA across a variety of care settings.
