Registration Terms and Conditions

• Full payment for registration fees must be received prior to the Conference
• All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 10%
• If you cancel your registration prior to 8 August 2025 your fee will be refunded less a cancellation fee of A$150.  Cancellations made after 8 August 2025 are non-refundable
• The Privacy Act 1988 provides that, before your name and contact details can be published in a list of participants you must give your consent.  If you select ‘Yes, I do want my details to be included in the list of participants’ on the registration form or by email, your details may be distributed to:
  • Conference delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (note that if consent is given to have your details included in the List of Participants, it is likely that sponsors may add you to their mailing lists and send promotional emails to you)        
  • Organisers of future Australasian Sleep Association events
• If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
• By registering for the Conference you are confirming consent for any video and photographs taken at the Conference, in which you may appear, to be used by the Association in promotion of the Conference.
• By registering for the Conference, you are consenting for your data to be used as per the Data Consent Policy. If you decide against your data being used, your registration will be cancelled less the cancellation fee above.

Information Presented at the Conference

The information presented at the Conference is solely intended for Health Care Professionals. 
You understand and agree that you are being provided with the information for educational and informational purposes only and that information will be provided to educate you on the latest scientific, clinical, therapeutic and educational advancements. 
You understand and agree that whilst the content is accessible worldwide, some content may be applicable to particular regions only, such as Australia and New Zealand. 

Although the Australasian Sleep Association strives to present only current and accurate information at its Conference, you agree not to solely rely on this information or consider it to be any form of professional advice without additional independent review of its accuracy, completeness, efficacy, and timeliness. 
Any decisions as to how you use this information is in your sole discretion and the Association will not be liable for any issues that may arise from such use. 

Participant Conduct

You will conduct yourself in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
You will treat all participants with respect and consideration to create a collegial, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment at Sleep DownUnder 2025.

Legal Claim 

This agreement is subject to the law of Australia. In the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Australia shall be the sole court of jurisdiction. 

Program 

The Association reserve the right to modify the program, which is published as an indication only. 

Accommodation Terms and Conditions (if applicable)

• Prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services tax of 10% unless otherwise specified.
• A credit card guarantee is taken at the time of booking. The credit card will be charged by the hotel as specified below.
• Rates provided for each of the hotels are specific to the Meeting dates only.  
• Rates provided are for Room only unless otherwise specified.

Holiday Inn Express Adelaide

• A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to guarantee the booking on or after Thursday 4th September 2025.  Full payment should be paid directly with the hotel on check-in.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
• If you cancel your booking on or after Thursday, 4th September 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded.
• Group bookings
  • Credit card details are required to secure group bookings of 8 or more rooms.  The credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee the reservations.   Full payment will be required on check-in at the hotel.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
  • If the group is cancelled between 8 July 2025 and 4 September 2025, the credit card supplied as a guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation.  If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 4 September 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified the hotel will charge the credit card 100% cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked.
• Room configurations are subject to availability. The requested configuration will be sent to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
• You will be responsible for settling any additional nights booked and any incidentals incurred upon departure. Please be advised the hotel may apply a surcharge to all credit card payments, payment by cash or EFTPOS will not incur a surcharge.
• Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 10am.
• Rate includes 1 "Express Start Buffet Breakfast" per day, served in The Great Room.

Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide

• A credit card guarantee for the full stay is required to secure your booking. The credit card details submitted on this booking form will be securely transferred to the hotel to charge payment for one night of your accommodation on or after Thursday, 4th September 2025. If you make your booking after Thursday, 4th September 2025, your credit card will be charged for your one night of your stay immediately. The remaining room charges will be required on check in to the hotel.
• If you cancel your booking on or after Friday, 19th September 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified this payment will not be refunded, as well as all nights cancelled will be charged to this card.
• Group bookings
  • Credit card details are required to secure group bookings of 8 or more rooms.  The credit card details will be securely provided to the hotel to guarantee the reservations.  One night for each booking will be charged on or after Thursday, 4th September 2025. The remaining room charges will be required on check in to the hotel.  Any additional costs and incidentals incurred whilst at the hotel are to be paid on check-out
  • If the group is cancelled between 8 July 2025 and 4 September 2025, the credit card supplied as guarantee will be charged 20% of the full amount owed for accommodation.  If the group or individual within the group cancels their reservation on or after 4 September 2025, or fail to check-in on the arrival date you have specified the hotel will charge the credit card 100% cancellation fee equal to the total amount of room nights booked.
