Ms. Hudson is a fully registered Psychologist working in a clinical and research capacity within the Respiratory and Sleep Department at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and holds a joint appointment as an industry fellow with the Kids Sleep Research Group at The University of Queensland. Additionally, Ms Hudson runs a successful private practice from within Queensland Children’s Lung and Sleep Specialists. With specialized expertise in child and adolescent psychology and a specific focus in paediatric sleep psychology, Fiona collaborates closely with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents facing sleep and respiratory challenges.

Sleep strategies for children with Neurodisability: Development and Preliminary outcomes

Kasey Fullwood is a PhD candidate with the Kids Sleep Medicine Group, based at the Centre for Children’s Health Research at the University of Queensland. Her doctoral research focuses on the development of evidence-based behavioural interventions for the management of sleep disturbances in children with neurodisabilities and complex medical conditions. With specialised knowledge in paediatric sleep disorders, Ms. Fullwood has a particular interest in tailoring sleep treatment approaches for children with multifaceted health and behavioural needs.
Ms. Fullwood holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Queensland and has gained extensive practical experience collaborating with sleep specialists at the Sleep and Respiratory Department of the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Dr Adelaide Withers is a respiratory and sleep paediatrician at Perth Children's Hospital. Her research interests include respiratory failure and sleep disordered breathing in children with neuromuscular disorders, tracheomalacia in children with cystic fibrosis and oximetry screening for obstructive sleep apnoea.

Adj Clin Prof Gillian Nixon is a paediatric respiratory and sleep physician. She is Deputy Director of the Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre at Monash Children’s Hospital and has an academic appointment at Monash University. Her research focusses on improvements in the diagnostic and treatment pathway for obstructive sleep apnoea in children, including developing simplified diagnostic tools and driving improvements in evidence-based treatment pathways. She has held a NHMRC Translating Research into Practice fellowship and has a postgraduate certificate in Health Services Management. In 2018-2020 she was seconded to the Victorian state government on a quality improvement project on paediatric adenotonsillectomy.

Ms Rebecca Mihai is the Non-invasive Ventilation Service Manager of the Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital. She is a current ANZSSA and RPSGT member, with over 20 years’ experience in paediatric sleep medicine. Her research interests include paediatric non-invasive ventilation, with close affiliations with Monash University. She is the currently the ANZSSA Victorian Representative and also on the CEC Committee.

Jessica Nicolazzo is a PhD candidate and provisional psychologist currently completing her training at Monash University. Melbourne, Australia. Her PhD looks at sleep and circadian rhythms across adolescent development and utilises data from the ongoing longitudinal Circadian Light in Adolescence, Sleep and School (CLASS) Study. Her research is primarily supervised by Dr Bei Bei.
