Details

Partnership with people with lived experience is essential across all stages of research to ensure research is addressing the right questions and achieving the best possible outcomes. Sleep disorders have a significant impact on the quality of life for millions of people, but the perspectives of people with lived experience of sleep disorders are not well understood. This symposium will discuss the importance of research co-design and will explore three relevant research studies with a strong co-design element. The speakers will provide practical advice on how to successfully develop meaningful partnerships with people with lived experience and discuss how co-design has improved their research. This symposium is supported by the Sleep Health Foundation Lived Experience Advisory Partners.
