Biography

Sarahmarie is an early-career quantitative health researcher with a background in nutrition and psychology. She is currently completing her PhD in the deep south of Aotearoa New Zealand, at the University of Otago, where she is exploring the relationships between specific aspects of bedtime routines and young children’s sleep.

Biography

Dr Ajay Kevat is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physician based at Queensland Children's Hospital. He is the Oceanic Region Ambassador for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's International Assembly. He enjoys multidisciplinary research endeavours that bring technological solutions to real-world clinical challenges, and he is particularly interested in the safe, effective and unbiased development and application of artificial intelligence tools to paediatric health care, especially in the area of sleep medicine.

Biography

Caroline Faucher is a Research Fellow in the Systems Neuroscience Group at the University of Newcastle. She recently submitted her PhD in Clinical Psychology (to be conferred), which examined the interplay of sleep, psychological distress, cognition, and brain health in mid to late life. Her work integrates clinical and neuroscience approaches. Caroline is also a Clinical Psychology Registrar, working with clients across the lifespan, with a particular interest in sleep difficulties during life transitions such as the perinatal and peri-menopausal periods.

Biography

Courtney Jarrett is a Sleep Scientist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) in Herston, Queensland. With a background in sleep science, she has a strong interest in improving access to sleep health services, particularly through technology and regionally delivered care pathways. She is actively involved in the delivery and evaluation of innovative service models aimed at improving equity in sleep healthcare. Courtney is passionate about advancing sleep science and contributing to better patient outcomes across both metropolitan and regional populations in Australia.
