Grace Langdon is a psychology undergraduate working with Jasneek Chawla in the Kids Sleep Research Team with a focus on improving sleep in different paediatric populations. Her work includes collaboration in a multidisciplinary team, contributions to research on paediatric sleep health and supporting data collection and analysis.

Miss Shin is an AHPRA-registered nurse currently working alongside Associate Professor Jasneek Chawla within the Kids Sleep Research Group, focusing on improving sleep health in both general and specific paediatric populations. Her work includes contributing to clinical research, supporting the development of sleep interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the care and wellbeing of children with complex health needs. She has a strong interest in translating research findings into practical, family-centred strategies that can be applied in both hospital and community settings.

Dr Moya Vandeleur graduated from Trinity College Medical School, University of Dublin in 2002 (MB BCh BAO BA). Her general paediatric training was undertaken in Ireland (MRCP, 2005). She completed a fellowship in respiratory medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and a fellowship in paediatric sleep medicine at the Melbourne Children’s Sleep Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital (FRACP, 2012). She was appointed a consultant in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Royal Children's Hospital in 2015. Her PhD examined the impact of sleep disturbance on mood and quality of life in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis (2018; Monash University).

Madeleine Gale is a PhD student in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Newcastle. Her thesis is investigating the relationship between screen time, sleep, and language development in preschool-aged children. Madeleine is particularly interesting in deciphering how key screen time factors, such as caregivers’ perceptions of their child’s screen time, screen content, and screen engagement, are related to sleep and language outcomes.

She completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales and is currently undertaking a Master of Philosophy, exploring sleep-related movement using Sonomat, a novel non-contact technology.

Dr. Swati Jayaram is the Chief Pediatric Pulmonary Fellow at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University. She completed her pediatric residency at Case Western Reserve University and is board certified in pediatrics. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric sleep medicine, cystic fibrosis, and pulmonary hypertension in children with obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Jayaram will begin a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Ohio State in July 2025. She is an active member of the AAP, ATS, and AASM.
