Biography

Dr Viviano obtained his credentials from the University of Toronto in 1983. His clinic is limited to managing sleep-disordered breathing and bruxism. He is a Credentialed Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, has lectured internationally, conducted original research, authored original articles on the management of sleep-disordered breathing and is an invited lecturer for Loma Linda University and University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. His clinic was the first Canadian facility accredited by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and he is Clinical Director of the Sleep Disorders Dentistry Research and Learning Centre.

Biography

Dr. Nath is an experienced dentist with over 30 years in practice, sub-specialising in oral appliance therapy for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Holding dual fellowships in Dental Sleep Medicine (FDSM) and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS), Dr. Nath is deeply committed to further education in order to provide the best evidence based therapies to help her patients reclaim restful, healthier sleep. Dr Nath is currently a member of the Dental Sleep Medicine council and serves on the ASA education and ASA conference committees. She will be moderating two sessions during the ASA Dental Sleep Medicine short course.

Graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2000, BDSc (Hons), Rebecca worked in Melbourne as a general dentist in public and private practice for eight years. In 2009 she began working exclusively in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. In 2023 she gained a fellowship in Dental Sleep Medicine from the Australasian Sleep Association. Rebecca has provided long term care to thousands of patients with oral appliances.

Dr Adam Teo is the principal dentist and founder of QLD Dental Sleep Therapy, a clinic dedicated to the management of patients for obstructive sleep apnoea, bruxism and TMJ disorders with a special focus on oral appliance therapy (mandibular advancement splints). He is currently the co-chair of the Australasian Sleep Association Dental Sleep Medicine council and completed his Fellow of Dental Sleep Medicine and Masters in Science of Medicine (Sleep Medicine) in 2023. Adam is a longstanding member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australasian Sleep Association (ASA) and Sleep Health Foundation (SHF) as well as an inductee for The Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA) and International College of Dentists (FICD).
